This was my first time staying at a hostel. Not only a very affordable option, I felt safer than staying at a hotel by myself. I loved the sleeping quarters. They're very secure, it was an all female dorm with 4 bunk beds, each room has it's own bathroom, sink and shower. The facility has so many places to lounge in, it was cold so I didn't get to see the view from the roof. I hear is it lovely. My personal favorite was the Bar/Cafe. After my cancelled flight, I was so excited to see the bar when I walked in. Not only was the bar on location very convenient, the prices are really reasonable, they have an AMAZING happy hour, one of the best tasting cocktail's I've had in the city. I didn't get the bar tenders name but he was so kind. I loved the music, it was so nice to sit relax, decompress then go to bed upstairs. The next day I stopped for coffee, I enjoyed hanging out with Erin so much I stayed all day enjoying time with her and other visitors. Everything was clean, the staff was all wonderful and welcoming from the very kind girl at check in, to checking out with the morning staff it was a wonderful experience. I stopped by the following week without a reservation, just to say hello and have another drink. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place in the area. Or if you're local, just stopping in for a delicious cocktail, espresso, Matcha or cup of coffee.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean this hostel was. The receptionist Joy was very friendly and helpful, the location is very close to a subway station too. The rooms were basically spotless, bathroom showers also had no mould! Overall great value for money considering how expensive NY can be. I would happily stay here again!

Stayed here for a short trip to NYC and overall had a good experience. The bed was comfortable, with thick blankets that kept me warm through the night. The room was spacious enough, though it would be much better if curtains were added for extra privacy — something I hope the hostel considers in the future. The AC was a bit noisy, but manageable with earplugs. Bathrooms were clean but do note that soap and shampoo are not provided (available for purchase). The kitchen was a bit small, so it can get crowded during peak hours. What I loved: • The large communal lounge was a big plus for relaxing or meeting other travelers. • There’s also a café and bar on site, which adds a really nice social touch. • The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. • Although there’s no elevator, it’s only two floors — totally doable. • And the rooftop is beautiful! Too bad I couldn’t enjoy it much because it was raining during my visit. No game room or pool table, so don’t expect a party hostel vibe — but if you’re looking for a cozy, social, and well-located place to stay in NYC, this is a solid choice.

This is one of the best places to stay! During business travels I started staying here for very short nights in before, after or in between flights. The linens are always fresh, super clean and comfy. As well are the rooms, clean. Big shout out to Paola! The team keeps everything always super clean. Separate shower and facilities inside the rooms and with a door to the sleeping chamber. There’s a bit of privacy. Simple, good design. Hot and cold showers with great water pressure. Again, always clean. You can check-in at any time. Massive shout out to the entire front desk team!! Hotel level service here. You can feel calm when arriving because they know what they’re doing. The bar is a great place to start or end the night! Free drink with every check-in. If you’re lucky enough, Andy is bartending when you’re there. You’re the best! Tell him I said Hi! In general the place is very structured, safe and there are many cool people. I’ve met fantastic humans I wouldn’t want to have missed out on had I known I would be meeting them. Easy access to Manhattan, short walk to subway. As well as supermarkets, Trader Joe’s e.g., and other shops. Stay here.

This was my first experience in a hostel & I’m glad it was a good one. Would definitely recommend for people who are new to solo travel/staying in hostels. Really close to a subway station, clean rooms, great shared spaces, friendly staff. My stay was short but a good one!
