Superb location. The aesthetics of the hotel feel luxiurious and grand. They offer one of the most consistent, best tasting buffets.
Staff The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was eager to help and ensure my stay was comfortable. Room My room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Locality The hotel's location was perfect – within walking distance to Ambience mall. The surrounding area was safe and vibrant, with plenty of options for dining and entertainment. Overall, I highly recommend the Grand hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic hotel experience. The staff, room, and locality all combined to make my stay truly unforgettable.
The Grand New Delhi, a luxurious five-star property in Vasant Kunj, stands as a beacon of opulence amidst the capital’s urban sprawl. Spread across 10 acres of lush greenery, this hotel, formerly known as the Grand Hyatt, rebranded under The Grand umbrella and continues to cater to discerning travelers and locals alike. Its strategic location—20 minutes from Indira Gandhi International Airport and close to South Delhi’s commercial hubs—makes it a convenient yet tranquil retreat. The architecture blends modern elegance with subtle Indian motifs, evident in its sprawling lobby adorned with chandeliers and marble floors. The 390 rooms and suites are spacious, starting at 45 square meters, with plush bedding, large windows offering pool or garden views, and high-tech amenities like smart TVs and rain showers. The Grand Club rooms elevate the experience with exclusive lounge access. However, some guests note that the decor, while sophisticated, feels slightly dated in parts. Dining is a highlight, with options like Cascades for global cuisine, Indulge for desserts, and the standout Caraway, serving authentic North Indian fare—its butter chicken is a must-try. The outdoor pool, flanked by manicured lawns, is a serene escape, though the spa, while relaxing, comes at a premium. Service is generally impeccable, with staff exuding warmth, though occasional lapses in speed have been reported during peak occupancy. Pricing reflects its luxury status, with rooms starting at ₹12,000 per night, which may deter budget travelers. The Wi-Fi is fast, but additional charges for premium access irk some guests. For events, its expansive banquet halls, like the 25,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, are unrivaled. The Grand New Delhi delivers a polished, upscale experience—ideal for business travelers, couples, or anyone seeking a pampered stay in the capital.
