All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, fairly new, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The design was modern and minimalist, which we really liked. The location was quiet and peaceful, just 3 km from the airport. There’s a nice pool and plenty of comfortable areas to relax. Overall, we had nothing to complain about. Everything was great!

We were welcomed with a welcome drink The pool was amazing, with comfy beds, great bar service & kind pool attendants. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of western/eastern options. The beds were comfy & the AC worked really well. What stood out the most was how kind the staff were, from reception, to bike rental, to breakfast, to pool, to bar… everyone was exceptionally friendly.

when i saw that it was a 3 star hotel i didn’t expect much but when i actually arrived at the hotel i was absolutely amazed! the staff is super kind, helpful and talkative which made my stay so nice and comfortable. the room i got was also very cozy and nice and i got very good sleep while there. the hotel is also very close to cenang beach (around 10 min walk) which is such a helpful thing especially if you want to go shopping at the small stores. if i were to visit langkawi again i would DEFINITELY stay at this hotel again, this hotel made me feel so welcome and comfortable and i truly love it so much!!!

Just had a 5 day 4 night stay at this hotel which was so lovely and would definitely recommend it if your coming to this part of the island. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious with all facilities you could need. They also provided fresh bottled water daily and lots of cold water fountains to top up and hydrate. Beautiful warm pool and comfortable pool beds with complimentary towels. We were lucky to eat here too. The breakfast choice is vast and they cater for everyone.. Try the fresh egg station ?. We also ate on a couple of evenings and the food was varied, well prepared and tasted amazing Definitely worth trying. One evening they had a screening of the Jurassic Park movie around the pool which was fun. Then another evening there was a duo singing some very laid back chilled songs.. They were very good and it made a nice change to our evening. The beach area bars, shops and restaurants are only about a 10 min walk from the hotel and a 10/15 min walk the other way brings even more bars restaurants and a spa. What made this stay and particularly this hotel so special was the staff. From checking in at reception to looking after us throughout our stay nothing was too much for them. I think it says a lot about an organisation whose staff are happy. So thank you and we may well come back to this beautiful part of the world again. ♥️

We booked this hotel last minute and chose Bayou Hotel because of the positive reviews. We’re so happy with our choice! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always thinking along with you about day trips and must-see spots. The room was very clean, the pool was beautiful and the beach was within walking distance. If we ever come back to Langkawi, we will definitely stay at Bayou Hotel again!
