Great stay Surf Inn Boutique Backpackers is hands down one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! From the moment I arrived, Chloe, Jodi, and Emily were absolute legends—super friendly, gorgeous, and made my stay unforgettable. The place here is incredible, with a great mix of social energy and chill spaces to relax. The free breakfast is a solid start to the day, and the coffees are actually well-made—not just your standard hostel instant coffee. The rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring Surfers Paradise. What really sets this place apart is the nightlife. The staff organize amazing nights out, making sure everyone has a great time while also feeling safe and looked after. If you’re looking for a hostel that’s social, well-run, and full of great people, Surf Inn is the spot. Already looking forward to coming back!

I stayed here for three nights during my trip to the Gold Coast, and it was an excellent choice. The place offers great value and is equipped with many amenities, including a pool. The breakfast is delicious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves fantastic. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Surfers Paradise Beach.

I highly recommend this hostel. It was clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I stayed during a cyclone, and they went out of their way to ensure we felt safe and comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I felt well taken care of throughout the situation.

Very nice hostel close to the center of surfers Paradise in Gold coast, but still far away so you are not disturbed in the night. It’s 10 min walk to the beach which is really nice and a 5 min walk to the Greyhound bus stop. The nice is very clean and good looking with great design. They don’t have a kitchen so you can’t Cook your own food or store food in a kitchen, but they have free breakfast and offers great dinner for a cheap price. The beds doesn’t have curtains but the beds are very nice and the room has a own baryton with showers and toilets

One of the most well looked after and clean hostels I have stayed at. The outdoor area is really nice, the pool is gorgeous, there are (well looked after) plants and potted flowers all around the decking which gives the impression that the owners really care. There are good entertainment facilities: a pool table, darts board and TV (with netflix, games consoles etc). Something to note is there is no guest kitchen but there is free breakfast and discounted food. They don't serve alcohol but have a fridge for guests to store drink. The rooms are nice though I would prefer the beds to have privacy curtains. Everywhere is cleaned so thoroughly. The bathrooms are a little basic - no hairdryers or hand dryers/hand towels. In terms of activities, there are party reps who organise nights out. I met the owners, who were in working, on my last day. They were so friendly and gave me recommendations on my next destination - Brisbane. The only thing that me and the other girls in my room found difficult about the hostel, is that the staff enter the rooms several times a day (at least 5 times throughout) without knocking. I think staff knocking before entering can really help guests' sense of autonomy and privacy. Overall, Surfers Paradise wasn't really my vibe but I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to the area.
