My wife and I had a fantastic stay for our one year anniversary. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the buffet breakfast at No35 was lovely, the location is perfect for getting around Melbourne and we had a beautiful view of the city from our room. We will be coming back for another special trip in the future. Thank you Sofitel team for making our first year celebration one to remember (for all of the right reasons)

We stayed at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins in early 2025, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the concierge team and Manager Dan made us feel genuinely welcome, adding a personal touch that really elevated our stay. The hotel is elegant and comfortable, with stunning views from the room and a fantastic breakfast selection. Most of the staff were attentive and lovely throughout. That said, we did encounter one breakfast waitress—tall, with light hair and a fair complexion—who came across as noticeably impatient and dismissive on two separate mornings. Still, it was a minor issue in what was otherwise a relaxing and high-quality experience. We left with great memories and a real appreciation for the care and service throughout our stay. We’d definitely consider coming back for a future trip!

We stayed at the Sofitel on Collins for our wedding night and couldn’t be more impressed. The team went above and beyond to make the night feel truly special. This hotel is seriously underrated. The service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and professional. The rooms felt luxurious and were spotless. The breakfast was also a highlight: delicious, with plenty of options. The location was ideal — central yet quiet, away from the hustle of the busy streets. Even the next morning, when we were waiting to be picked up, the staff brought out chilled water to keep us refreshed — such a small gesture but it really stood out. We felt genuinely looked after from start to finish, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Fantastic view. Great location for access to public transport, the city, and walking around. Lovely big room with big bathroom. Shower over bath which is not ideal. Very comfortable bed. Staff were excellent, with every interaction, being friendly, helpful, very professional, just delightful. Took advantage of the lounge which was lovely. The best coffee. Yummy breakfast. Again, staff were excellent. Nothing not to love here. Will stay again.

My two night stay was for work, the location was perfect as it was within walking distance. From the moment we arrived, we were met by the friendly and attentive staff; car park attendants, check in, concierge, housekeeping and bar staff. Business trips can be stressful, the coziness of my room allowed for me retreat, turn off and relax. The little extras of having your bed turned down, gentle lighting, window shutters for complete privacy, herbal teas, left me feeling well rested Sunday morning. Thank you.
