5 stars without a doubt! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay – World-Class Service & Leadership! I had an amazing experience at Scenic Hotel Cotswold during my recent visit to Christchurch. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. A huge shoutout to General Manager Hunar Chhikara, whose outstanding leadership is clearly reflected in every part of the hotel. Her warm, hands-on approach and commitment to excellence have created a team that truly goes above and beyond for their guests. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant team – everyone made sure my stay was as comfortable and seamless as possible. The hotel itself is full of charm, with spacious, well-appointed rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. But it’s the people who truly make the difference. Their passion for hospitality shines through, making it feel more like a home away from home. Highly recommend Scenic Hotel Cotswold for anyone visiting Christchurch – you won’t be disappointed!

The property is at a great location. Walkable and drivable to all the attractions, shopping and dining spots. I like the abundant parking space best at this property. However the room we stayed at was very much aged. The fittings and household equipment offered was like from 1990s. While this may suits some guests’ flavor, it certainly isn’t my cup of tea. I would suggest an imminent room revamp so not to waste such a good location.

I travel Monday to Friday every week and stay in Hotels all over NZ. Scenic Cotswold is one of a very few Hotels that I rate extremely high. Clean, tidy, comfortable, the Team at Cotswald are so inviting and nothing is a problem. They make you feel very welcome and go the extra mile. I love this place! I'll be back time and time again.

Loved our stay at Cotswold right from the get go reception staff were amazing and super helpful. Was a quick trip for us as we were flying out in the early morning, but my mum stayed on with a complimentary late check out which she loved. Also huge positive for us was the fact it was dog friendly and not only dog friendly but extremely dog oriented. Our Dog lexie had a welcome cupcake and her own bed so we didn't need to fit her one into the car. Honestly couldn't find a fault with our stay will definitely become a regular spot for us.

A great place to stay, really appreciated the afternoon tea on a wild, wet afternoon. The evening meal was absolutely perfect. The chef created a lovely vegetarian surprise to suit my dietary needs and the beef burger was one of the best my husband has ever had! Very much appreciated.
