No. 71號, Section 1, Jinshan S Rd, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan 100
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights The location, the room, the service was great. But.. the breakfast buffet was very disappointing. There were very few options available – no hot chocolate, no warm milk, and no pastries. On top of that, the dining room was extremely cold and not heated, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. For the price and duration of our stay, we expected much better.
I came to Taiwan with a happy heart today with my family. However, not long after I arrived at the hotel, my daughter started to have a very high fever, so I urgently requested a taxi at the front of the hotel, and with the prompt response and responsibility of the hotel staff, I quickly arrived at the emergency room in the taxi you requested, and my daughter's condition was able to improve. Thank you again.
We loved our stay. There really was nothing to fault at all. The room was huge, the bathroom was huge, the shower worked superbly, the toilet was Japanese style with heat, wash etc. There was a kettle and fridge, the room was quiet, the bed was comfy and v big, there was space to put your clothes, good surfaces and bedside tables to put your things on and the aircon worked well too. All in all we were sad to leave... Oh and across the road is a YouBike station and a 7-11 on the corner. To get to night markets it's a train ride or a walk/bike ride which is also easy and it's a couple of stops on the red line to the main station. And if that's not enough the staff were lovely and the hotel cab to the airport in the early morning was cheaper than Uber.
We always stay at the Royal Biz when we visit Taipei. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to many MRT Stations and close to many other attractions in central Taipei. The rooms are spacious and the service is excellent. The breakfast options could be better, but it is OK. They have a self-service laundry and gym in the basement
Overall is good experience! A Japanese-style hotel. Location: 7 min walk from MRT, acceptable range. The nearest convenience store is not convenient, around 7 min walk from hotel. Hotel is close to Yongkang Street, a chic place to walk around! Hotel lobby: a bit dated Staff: Very nice and polite. They open door for us. They stand up to greet us every time when we leave and enter the hotel. They could speak multiple language including Mandarin, English and even Japanese. Room: Spacious when compared to the hotel in Taipei station. With sofa and foot rest, a working table! Iron is also provided in each room! Very amazing! We can use Japanese washlet in our room! Overall Just a little bit dated but the equipment is well-maintained. Facilities: gym room with basic equipment, self-laundry @ basement floor. Environment: very quiet, clean corridor Cons: air-conditioning is too weak. I feel hot even i turned the air-con to the lowest temperature. Breakfast: chinese and Japanese style. Little section for bakery. The flavour is Asian-style. The food will change every day. E.g. chicken wings, sausage, fish, etc. It is a healthy breakfast with limited choice. I will recommend to people who want a quiet and spacious Japanese-style room with free Asian-flavour breakfast.
