Before I arrived at the hotel, I’d seen some bad reviews and had poor expectations of the rooms and the service. Unfortunately the first room they gave us, the AC wasn’t working and it was almost 80 degrees in there with no way to cool it down. When I raised this with the staff they first suggested a fan and they would take a look tomorrow, but I rejected the idea as it would have been impossible to sleep in that heat. After that, they gave us another room with functioning AC. The whole process only took about 20 minutes between me going to the check in desk and switching to the new room. The hotel itself seemed quite grand, with multiple shops and restaurants onsite. The staff was exceedingly courteous, and the room was modern, spacious, and well equipped with amenities. Though the location itself required some walking back and forth to more distant train stations, it was never more than a 15-17 minute walk, and gave us a good opportunity to walk off the food after dinner. We also made use of the shuttle from Osaka station quite a few times as well. Overall, the hotel was very impressive! I’m really glad I gave it a chance and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful family stay during the Osaka Expo. The breakfast pancake making machine was a hit! The King Grand room was comfortable for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The staff was excellent at the desk and the Remone restaurant, impressed with the team here. RR has a long history serving the last Osaka Expo in 1970 and it was great to see they’re still hitting high marks since it’s founding in the 1930s!

Such a lovely hotel. The only thing that I would improve is the location. There is nothing very walkable. But there is a train station attached and a free shuttle from JR Osaka station. The rooms and lovely and breakfast is fabulous. The views were nice too.
