Quest East Perth is truly distinguished by its remarkable entrance, which merges historic charm with modern design to create an instantly welcoming atmosphere. In my view, it is the most impressive hotel entrance I have encountered anywhere in the world. Inside, the accommodations are modern, impeccably maintained, and cozy, making them perfect for both relaxation and business travel. My standard room featured a spacious balcony, which offered sweeping views of the Perth city skyline—providing a sublime setting for both sunrise and sunset unwinding. Additionally, the hotel gym is a standout feature, offering a very satisfactory range of equipment, which is a rarity in most Perth hotels. This makes staying on top of fitness routines while traveling both convenient and enjoyable. Situated in a prime location, Quest East Perth offers easy access to the city’s top attractions, dining, and shopping. This hotel comes highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, cost-effective, and uniquely charming stay in Perth.

We recently stayed at Quest Apartments on Adelaide Terrace, and overall had a great experience. The building itself is beautiful – a stunning old church that’s been thoughtfully converted. It’s a unique and charming exterior that stands out, but finding the entrance can be a little tricky from the street. Parking is around the back and also a bit hard to locate at first. Once parked, you need to exit the same gate you drive through and walk down the street to access reception. Just a tip – if you leave your clicker in the car, there’s a button on the wall to get out. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made check-in smooth. Our room was lovely – a one-bedroom apartment that included one of the few balconies available. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on, but was OK. Facilities are solid. The gym is well equipped with weight gear, dumbbells, a rower and treadmill. It is pretty crammed in though. The laundry is also on level 1. There are also rooms available for hire if you’re planning meetings or events. One of the highlights is the rooftop bar – a great space to unwind, serving pizzas and entrée-style food. We found it peaceful and quiet at night, which was a bonus for a city stay. We’d definitely consider staying again – just be prepared for a bit of a puzzle when you first arrive!

Overall it was a good and pleasant stay. Location wise is decent and convenient (17 to 20 mins walk to central locations). Room size is good and spacious for one to two people. Would have given 5 stars if not for the lack of customer service from the front desk counter staff named Gigi. During check-in and check-out she displayed a hostile and unpleasant facial reaction towards me despite my greetings towards her. A 'stuck up attitude' is what would be described about this staff, probably due to her odd usage of sitting next to the computer screen in extremely close proximity, which causes her lack of professionalism. Other than that, the rest of the front desk staff were great and very friendly, especially Rafael and the new staff in Training (the one who wore the Training name tag). I would recommend this hotel if you are deciding to stay in Perth.

Stayed here for work. Staff very polite, friendly and welcoming, and took the time to explain a few different things about my stay. I found them considerably more helpful than many other places I have stayed. Room was functional and neat and very quiet. Location was also really good, nice and close to the river and a few places to eat. Just a couple of little things that stop me giving it five stars - I was on a lower level so even with a balcony my room faced the brick side of another building in a U-shape so there was absolutely no air flow, even with the balcony door wide open. (And of course no view, as expected). There was a well used towel from the previous guest in my room when I checked in but the staff removed it immediately when asked. There were also a couple of times when the aircon sort of shut down, and wouldn't let me turn it on. Overall it was a good stay and I would return if in this part of Perth.
