606 Teheran-ro, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea
Stayed here for about a week for our anniversary and it was a great experience. The staff were so kind and friendly. The room had an incredible view we stayed in one of the highest floors and loved how quiet it was. Close to the train station and right in front of the Coex mall. Close to Lotte world/mall. They have a few restaurants in the hotel and a speakeasy, which has amazing drinks and food. They also have a spa in the hotel, my husband got me a massage for an hour and it was the best exercise ever. Would definitely stay here again!
Conveniently located near COEX but away from the touristy areas. This hotel is unique in that it’s probably one the only one with suites that don’t have a double sink. This place is not suitable for light sleepers who don’t wear earplugs. The full-length windows offer a grand view, but they’re not soundproof.
We enjoyed our stay here. 4 star rating because we had a good experience with the staff, they were very helpful and courteous when we needed help. However the hotel lounge on the top floor closes before 930 pm which is too early for a luxury hotel. We aren’t used to paying extra for sauna as a guest in a 5* hotel but this is a Korea thing. I have been to a 5* signiel and felt they had much better common areas like a champagne lounge you could help yourself to in the afternoon. Park Hyatt didn’t offer any extras like that. We had an upgraded room on floor 21 it was nice. Very large, comfortable and we slept well. There is road noise and construction. If you pay extra they’ll give you a river view room in the side which is quiet ;) the lobby comments on other reviews are valid. Overall we enjoyed our stay but might consider a different place in Seoul next time.
It’s a great spot to impress someone. Pro - View down into the streets/square is amazing - No need to press elevator buttons because everyone who works here presses them for you - Sizeable rooms + bathrooms - Even more beautiful dining area and deliciously fresh food. Con - You need to wear a swimming cap in the pool - Can kind of see other rooms through the wjndows because the building is not flat but an obtuse angle - Rooms are very high up so need to use elevators to get down (if that’s even a complaint)
