Stayed here in a King Room for three nights in November. It’s a new and modern hotel with good facilities and amenities. Bed is comfortable and big, able to fit 2 adults and 2 young children. Loved the breakfast at La Madonna as well, even though it was not a buffet. The quality of the food you can order from the menu was good. Regarding service, the front counter staff were polite and helpful. However, I agree with many comments here that room service would leave much to be desired, especially for a 5-star hotel. Coffee capsules were not replenished despite a request. The dustbin and bed was also not made up on more than one occasion. So overall, a 3.5 star rating would be more appropriate and reflective of my experience.

The best thing about this hotel was the location - Chinatown and the theatre district were nearby. The room was nice and clean but small for the price that we paid. Even though we didn't complain sadly the shower door leaked - for such a high end hotel that was very disappointing. The check-in process was easy and we received great customer service from Jordan, Meg and Leon. One of the highlights of this hotel was dining in the La Madonna restaurant. The food was fabulous and the wait staff were professional and very friendly.

A nice hotel for short stays, quiet, peaceful. A good location to easily access shows, bars, clubs, and public transport. The breakfast in the club is a good starter for the day, but dinner in the restaurant seems to be targeting the upper end of town. The bar has a great selection and it’s quite cozy of an evening, but again it’s priced at the higher end of the spectrum. If I didn’t have a package deal with dollars in the kitty I would just be headed out every night.

This hotel is truly one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. A first class experience from start to finish, offering ultimate luxury in every detail. The complimentary pastries every morning were a lovely touch, and the room service and daily turnover were consistently excellent. It made the holiday in Melbourne feel extra special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a premium, relaxing stay.
