Extremely convenient location, on ground level of the Kyoto Train station. We arrived via shinkansen from Tokyo and was taking the Kintetsu express the next day to Osaka. Kintetsu Platform was a 1min walk up the escalator. The hotel entrance looked luxurious and the room was nice and big. Although the beds were true singles (we had King Singles in Tokyo), the room and bathroom size more than made up for it. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. Rooms were modern, clean and nicely insulated whilst being quiet at night (even though we were right next to the train tracks). Buses and taxi stands were right outside the station sliding doors, once you leave the hotel. Again, very convenient. Highly recommended!

Ideal location for a stay in Kyoto. Located above the main train station the property is modern, clean, very comfortable and very well-connected. Rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, comfortable beds, nice sleepwear provided and very quiet. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast in the hotel was very Japanese (a good thing) but maybe not to all western travellers taste. Excellent value for money overall. Very friendly and professional staff. Would definitely stay again next time in am in Kyoto.

What an excellent stay! The hotel is inside the station, close to the Shinkansen tracks. I saw the tracks and the trains from my windows, a beautiful view indeed, but the rooms are so well soundproofed that I could sleep in absolute silence. The staff is helpful and kind like only Japanese people can be and all around the hotel there's plenty of shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff. We wanted to change our room to a higher floor and the staff was very understanding and helpful. We got a bright room on the 8th floor. The rooms are small but very clean. The bathroom is a good size. Very central location, you actually look at the train platforms. Very good as a base, especially when you want to do day trips from Kyoto to other cities. Ask for a renovated room if available.
