Great stay in Kyoto - it is a small but very modern recently build/renovated property and is highly automated - check-in check out is per internet so you (almost) don't see any staff (there was one very friendly staff greeting us though when we checked in). Room size is quite generous for Japan for this price point (still small but compared to other hotels we stayed was much more spacious) and was just nice for a family of 4, and it is designed in a Japanese way (mattress on tatami) with a very modern but Japanese bathroom. Amenities in the room like plates, cups etc are plenty of very good brand and design. The room is also well insulated, we barely switched on the heater despite winterly weather near zero. Have everything you need from washing machine to water kettle to microwave and even a small oven-grill! Location: it is good and bad - it is walking distance to Kiyomizu-Dera Temple and to the other direction to a metro station - But this metro station is a weird one because it doesn't really connect to Kyoto Station, plus it is skipped by many trains (Seems there is a bus from a stop near hotel but we didn't use that). The self lock luggage area is a nice touch and the lobby itself allows convenient waiting (or even working!).

Nice large rooms for family! Clean and looks brand new. Location is only accessible by bus. A long walk from Kyoto station / or to shopping malls. No basic room service such as garbage collection nor towel change. We stay 3 nights/4 days and there was some garbage (organic one as we cook). They dont collect so it has staying in the bins for 4 days. Self check in and out. No reception. Staff dont understand english but they have translators

We love our 2 night stay. Extremely clean, modern and comfortable, we especially Love your mini toaster oven. Sleeping on the futon/tatami for the first time was very enjoyable! Thank you very much Minn : )

Hotel location is very good, close to all the famous temples and shopping districts. Check in procedure is smooth, room is spacious and clean with all the necessity amenities. Our family was very pleased and glad that we choose Minn on our trip to Kyoto. The overall experiences was excellent.

I am very satisfied with my stay. Everything was perfect—great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and sheets, and spacious rooms. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Kyoto.
