I had the incredible chance to volunteer at The Mingle by Chinatown. I loved every minute of it and honestly it all went by way too fast! Special s/o to my lovely co-workers; Anna and Arif. You guys are the best! Other than that the hostel is amazing when it comes to the social vibes and location! The events that are being organized, help you explore KL in a different way. You’ll end up checking in as a guest and you’ll check out as a friend! This is the place to be if you want to Mingle with strangers!

Absolutely brilliant hostel! Beautiful building inside and out. Amazing location but still quiet at night. Really friendly staff. Lots of showers with hot water and good pressure. Clean rooms with different options available. Some double beds in the dorms, some small private bunk rooms and some more luxury rooms too. They have events you can joing almost every day. Roof top jacuzzi where you can meet friends or relax alone. Genuinely a different hostel experience to any I've tried before. I'm 38 and a solo female traveller and this is the first hostel I've felt really comfortable in. I'm staying for a while.

I stayed in a 2-female bedroom for 5 nights. The bed was very confy, no noise at all, very fresh air inside the bedroom. Washrooms are clean and nice. Rooftop and swimming pool great. Position in Chinatown just great. Only thing: if you want to wash your things then cant dry them in the bedroom, which is cold. If you dry them outside, consider the risk to be stolen (NOTHING MATTERING THE HOSTEL, just take care) Recommended at all!!

Amazing people, amazing place to stay. I've lived in Mad monkey hostels, a lot of hostel in Japan, and I found this one amazing. Mio at the reception was amazing, the owner is a fun guy. Met a lot of people in my solo trip here in Malaysia. 10/10 recommended

Had a great time at this hostel as a solo traveller. A funky hostel with an amazing atmosphere. The staff were incredible with plenty of activities including guided walking tours and bar crawls. Very social, would recommend to anyone willing to have a good time in this city.
