It's always better to let the vendors quote their lowest price before you start negotiating. With a bit of patience and good negotiation skills, you can score some great deals. That said, the area could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness and overall hygiene. While the atmosphere is vibrant and lively, a bit more attention to sanitation would really enhance the visitor experience. Overall, it’s a fun and colorful place to explore, especially if you enjoy street shopping and local culture. Just go in with the right mindset and be ready to haggle!

If you’re driving, I recommend parking at Four Points Hotel ? it’s convenient and costs RM5 per hour if you can’t find a spot nearby. Try to visit before sunset, as the night atmosphere may not feel as pleasant or safe. For me, the highlight was the beautiful Indian temple full of colors, carvings, and quiet spirit.
