Great choice close to Christchurch CBD. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well fitted out. Kitchenette was wonderful for meal leftover storing & reheating. Only minor addition I would suggest would be a bedside lamp with a plug in the base (and perhaps even built-in USB charger), to avoid need to plug in behind bedside table (awkward). Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

The maryville manner is a very comfortable motel with large size rooms that are actually suites/ small apartments. Who's located on a street that is full of motels, all of which look like they are of similar quality. The price, location, comfort, were all good. This would normally give them a 3 star ratting with me. As usual, what makes a big difference is management. Phil and Gin, managers at the hotel were, it's very helpful, fun to hang around with, and genuinely good people who wanted you to have an excellent stay.

From the time I arrived I was treated warmly by the lovely Karen. I got a room that I could park my car right out front, perfect. My room was nicely decorated with a modern kitchen and king size bed. Clean and comfortable. Will stay again

We really enjoyed our stay in Merivale and Christchurch. Great spot for dining and shopping and accessing the city. We had a vehicle and that made it easy to get around. Grant and Maree were fabulous host and generous with their information and knowledge of places to eat and visit and they were spot on. Merivale Manor being a historic building had 2 flights of stairs to get upstairs and we had lovely old and spacious room. We had a requested a twin room and it had a queen bed and single both of which were very comfortable. Great shower and nice bathroom. Thanks so much to Grant and Maree

The managers at this nice site were very hospitable, professional, extra accommodating. You're definitely treated with a name and not a number. Brilliant central location in the heart of Christchurch. 100% recommend this amazing place, you won't be disappointed!
