No. 35號, Section 1, Kaifeng St, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan 100
I stayed at this hotel in Taipei and had a good experience overall. The location is very convenient, just about 300 meters from Taipei Main Station. The staff were friendly and helpful—I was even upgraded to a bigger room, which I really appreciated. The room was clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was simple, like a standard hotel breakfast, but if you prefer to eat out, there are plenty of cafes, brunch spots, and breakfast places nearby. One thing to note is that the walls are quite thin, so you can hear noise from both neighboring rooms and outside, especially since the hotel is close to a major transportation hub. However, it was still acceptable for me, and the hotel provides earplugs for guests. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would consider staying here again.
We stayed here for three nights. On the first night, we arrived very late, but the hotel was easy to find, located not far from Taipei Main Station. Despite the late hour, the reception staff was fully prepared to serve us and even upgraded our room. We liked that the bathroom had a bidet spray, and the shampoo and shower gel smelled nice. Although we could hear some noise from the floor above or from the street, it wasn't bothersome at all. We slept very comfortably, probably because we had been walking around sightseeing all day and were tired enough to fall asleep quickly. As for breakfast, there was a good variety of food options.
My first stay of this hotel. Location was acceptable, there are many exists to Taipei Main Station. To get here need to exist from Z10, however there a lots of stairs which you need to carry up. End up the easy way was to walk outside of the main road to Taipei Main station east 3. Check in service was acceptable and fast. Room was acceptable, although there are some defects on the wall. Toilet/bathtub is clean. Bed was queen size and very squeezing. Don't have good view at all because view is block by the next building of another hotel. Food was acceptable for a 3 star rating. I would say it is value for money.
Great location, budget friendly compared to most "hotels" in Taipei, and it's clean. Yes, some parts are a bit outdated, but I think they still did the best they could. The place has only one elevator and it's small, you can wait up a while during the morning rush hours. If you have the ability to, just walk the stairs, it helps to work off all the delicious food around the area too! We were here for almost two weeks, and I would definitely stay here again. Staff were super friendly! Princeton and Johnny were super helpful, and there was this sweet lady (with glasses) too with the gorgeous hairpin that always smiles and greets us! Really appreciate them and the others as well, even if I don't know their names! Just want to say a big thank you to all! Definitely recommend this hotel!
Practically perfect in every way (considering the cost etc). Considering th e affordable pricing: * My room was spacious with a good desk. * Room lighting was great with overhead and indirect lighting. * A/C worked well, was quiet, and easy to adjust. * Bathroom was small but efficient with good quality appliances. Shower was great, linens good...All the right stuff. * The lobby has coffee and tea available all the time. * The breakfast was great catering to asian and european tastes. * Front desk staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. * The "vibe" of the hotel was active with a lot of tourist families. I stayed there four days and was VERY satisfied with my stay. You can count on this hotel for great value and service.
