My friends and I stayed in the "family room", which is pretty much an entire old apartment for rent. It has 4 beds: 2 futons and 2 normal beds. There is a kitchen (no stovetop, but has a fridge and kettle), a tatami lounge room, a tatami bedroom, and a western style bedroom. The bathroom and toilet are private as well. There are 2 aircon units, so you won't overheat in summer. The beds are clean and comfortable. For the price, it's really great and spacious!! The place in general isn't immaculately clean (stains on the walls, etc), but it is good for young people or those on a budget. The staff are very kind!! The station is about 15 minutes away if you walk, there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance, and AEON is nearby too. My biggest complaint is that the upstairs neighbors can be heard late into the night. The floors/ceilings are very thin, and it seems like the "quiet hours" are not really respected by anyone. It's much quieter to sleep during the day. Also, the parking situation is confusing. Although it seems like some people can reserve it (there was a sign), we were told it's first come, first serve...? So when we left the parking spot, someone else took it because we couldn't reserve it. If you can't park in one of the 2 spots on-site, you have to park about 5-10 minutes away and pay 1000+ yen per day. Overall the place is good for groups of friends on a budget, especially if you don't have a car. I recommend it.
Very very good service ! Helped us fix our problems in a very cozy house. Definitely worth the stay for anyone looking. Also the location is very good too!
I had a great short stay at Lazy House. When I arrived the host dropped me off at the gardens which I thought was very kind! The room is very well equipped! There’s a little kitchen which I didn’t use but it’s a nice touch. The TV is connected to streaming sites which is nice! It’s floor sleeping which I didn’t mind! The mattress was comfortable. The walls are a bit thin so it’s easy to hear your neighbors but thankfully no one was too loud! Overall, I’d recommend Lazy House. It’s inexpensive, close to a lot of things, and is comfortable! Thank you for the stay ?
Older style hostel that was clean and it was close to the station. The owner is nice and speaks a fair amount of English.
Overall a good experience. We stayed for a total of 3 nights and it is a good base for doing day trips. The first night we arrived it was kind of spooky, since it was cold and there was no one here, however when more people arrived it was nice. There is a nice living room with coffee. Would come again since it is definitely worth it for the price.
