We recently celebrated our first anniversary with a three-night stay at Kalandara Resort, and it was nothing short of perfect. We booked the honeymoon package, and from the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay extra special. Our room had breathtaking views that made every moment feel magical, and the little romantic touches added to the experience. The food was exceptional—every meal was delicious and full of flavor. A special highlight of our trip was the romantic dinner, where we were lucky to have Wulan as our server. She provided outstanding service with such warmth and attention to detail, making the evening even more memorable. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing anniversary getaway, and we truly appreciate the personal touch they put into everything. As the resort is located on a cliff at the north-western part of Lombok, there were not a lot of activities within walking distance (we learnt that the white sand beaches are on the southern side of the island). Nonetheless, the resort was a perfect place to unwind and relax with a gorgeous view. We also enjoyed the spa within the resort that provided a wide range of massages and facials. The staff were also very helpful in suggesting activities within the area and there is a free shuttle service to any location within 5km of the hotel. Thank you, Kalandara Resort, for making our celebration so special—we can’t wait to return!

WOW!!! I cannot even put into words how wonderful this resort is. From the service, to the room, to the food. My stay was 5 star!! We got to enjoy a romantic dinner as well as the spa. The spa was AMAZING!!! Thank you Kalandra!!! We cannot wait to visit again. WOW…! All smiles from beginning to end.

We had a wonderful stay at Kalandara. The room we booked with the private pool was excellent, with stunning views of the sea. As it’s Lombok, you do hear the prayers from the local mosque in the morning, but the hotel thoughtfully give you earplugs that help with that. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. Wulan deserves a special thank you for looking after us so well. The food in the restaurant is nice and gives you a really strong option for lunches and dinners if you don’t want to venture out to any of the other local restaurants. Breakfast is a la carte with a few bits extra via the buffet. It’s a good selection and more than enough to start your day in the right way. We also did the Gili Islands trip through the hotel, which was also excellent. It’s a private tour with plenty of snorkelling and time by the beach. Well worth doing this if you’re here for more than 1 day. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better stay and I’d highly recommend Kalandara to anyone visiting the area.

Really one of the best properties that we have stayed in whole of Indonesia. View is really breathtaking and the hospitality is great. It is a great place to be if someone wants to enjoy both mountains and beaches.

Amazing stay at this resort the accommodation is as described. Comfortable beds and pillows. Well equipped bathroom amenities. Food was good throughout our stay quite the extensive menu. Staff were very obliging and helpful. I used the day spa and was treated to their signature package which was amazing. Attention to detail and very professional. Definitely can recommend. A big thank you to all the staff can’t wait to return.
