Get ready for an amazing adventure! As you snorkel out to the deeper waters, you'll be surrounded by beautiful sea turtles grazing among the sea weed. It's an incredible sight, especially in the morning!
Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. My favourite in west Lombok. If you walk down to the end of the beach you can find a secluded shady spot under a tree. There is a strong across shore current and the seafloor can be rocky so do be careful when swimming. It can be difficult to get a prebooked taxi (grab/gojek/bluebird) on your way home but we were approached by a driver who offered a good price after a minute of waiting by the road.
this beach is gorgeous with is transparent turquoise waters. arrived late morning & stayed until mid-afternoon. several warungs serving drinks/food right on the beach & kayak rentals. not too crowded with locals & very few tourists. sandy parts in the water along with coral & turtles for snorkeling. no parking/entrance fees. plenty of parking. highly recommended
The beach was crowded by the local people. Well equipped with family gathering and resting. Great seafood BBQ and other food available. There are boat rides and snorkels on offer, too. Tourists do stand out and will be stared at, and I'm pretty sure we got the 'tourist's price on the seafood BBQ, but it was fantastic. No regret. If you keep walking on the beach there is a very nice resort which is such a contrast to the local beach. The water was murky, unfortunately. There is a turtle conservation centre where you can see some turtle babies too. We were there on the weekend, so it was very busy, and the BBQ seemed to start in the afternoon rather than lunchtime but I'm sure you can order anytime.
Nice place to enjoy the beach. The visitors mostly local, many seafood restaurants, clean and sandy beach. There is also a turtle nursery.
