1 North Point Estate Ln, North Point, Hong Kong
First time booking with Hyatt. Stayed for 10 Nights. Booked because it has one of the nicest rooftop pool in HK and big gym with advance equipment. Every room here has a partial sea view. It comes with a nice comfortable Coworking lounge at the lobby. Overall, I won’t book here again mainly due to location. It may be close to the train station but the area is enjoyable for travellers to explore by foot. The mall it sits on doesn’t have nice premium stores and is rather small. 🤩 HIGHLIGHTS ➊ Partial Sea View ➋ Rooftop Pool With Kowloon Harbour View ➌ Gym with advance equipment 🥺 DOWNSIDES ➊ Expensive Semi Buffet Breakfast HKD 400+ (Including taxes) for non high-tier hotel brand members. ➋ Location The surrounding area is super boring and hard to find food. A bit too far from central HK. ➌ Pool Occupancy Mid sized pool with strong jet of water. Crowded with lots of kids in the pool at most times. Hard to have a proper swim. ➍ Super Thin Pillows Quite surprised given it’s a 5 stars hotel. Had numbing cramps while sleeping.
I haven’t even finished my stay but I wanted to go ahead and write a review about how pleased I am with this hotel. I came here one day before Typhoon Ragasa and I’m essentially holed up in my room for the day, but the hotel staff have kept this place functioning perfectly. Breakfast was chaotic because essentially all hotel guests were there, but the staff did a great job of keeping things moving. My room is great, the location is great, the price was great. So pleased I stayed here in my first visit to HK.
I spent 13 days at this hotel during a business trip. Nestled in a prime location, it made commuting a breeze and exploring the city effortless. Window view is just exception. The staff’s hospitality was top-notch—always welcoming with a smile. Room service was a highlight: prompt, courteous, and consistently excellent. Breakfast was satisfying, though vegetarians might find the variety a bit limited. That said, the overall experience was memorable, and I’d happily return.
Exceptional Hospitality — Even During a Typhoon! We checked into the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, North Point just a day before Typhoon Signal No. 8 was hoisted in October — the strongest typhoon Hong Kong had seen in recent times. Despite the challenging weather, the hotel team handled everything with remarkable calm, care, and professionalism. From the moment we arrived, every detail reflected thoughtful preparation. The front desk made the check-in process smooth and reassuring, the concierge team was attentive and informative, and the room service remained prompt and courteous even as the storm approached. What impressed us most was how well the hotel prioritized guest safety and comfort — umbrellas were readily available, communication was clear, and you could truly feel the sense of organization and readiness throughout the property. Even amidst such extreme weather, we felt completely at ease and well cared for. Our stay at Hyatt Regency North Point turned what could have been a stressful time into a calm and memorable experience.
We only stayed in Hong Kong for a 24 hour layover, but would highly recommend the Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour. It is about 35 minutes from the airport and across 2 bridges. The location is great if you want a picturesque view from your room. The skyline is beautiful at night and just as perfect in the morning. Right from the moment you enter the hotel, you feel welcomed with nothing but smiles. The employees are worldly and very diverse ready to help with anything. If you forget to get cash at the airport, they will let you get cash from the front desk to pay for your cab. Check in was very smooth and quick, and the same for checkout. The hotel has multiple nice restaurants on site along with excellent room service if you get in late. There are a variety of shops and food right outside the hotel, especially our favorite, Hong Kong egg tarts. We would definitely recommend and stay here again for both short layovers and vacations.
