27/F, 310 Gloucester Rd, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
I recently visited Hong Kong and had SKYE Rooftop Brasserie at the very top of my list of places to try. I am so glad I did, as it turned out to be the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday in style. The space is incredibly nice and comfy, offering a sleek, modern atmosphere that feels both high-end and welcoming for a special occasion. We spent the evening overlooking the breathtaking Victoria Harbour, which provided a stunning backdrop as the city lights began to shimmer. To mark the celebration, we enjoyed a few bottles of excellent wine from their impressive selection while soaking in the panoramic views from the terrace. The combination of the cool night air, the glowing bar, and the vibrant energy of Causeway Bay made for an unforgettable birthday night. This was my first time visiting, and I was thoroughly impressed by the attentive service and the overall vibe of the venue. While we mainly focused on the drinks and the scenery this time, I will definitely be back to explore their full dining menu in the future. If you are looking for a top-tier rooftop experience in Hong Kong, SKYE is an absolute must-visit! 🥂
In my opinion, SKYE is the best rooftop bar in Hong Kong. From the moment you arrive, the experience is seamless. The hostess service is welcoming and well organized, the waitstaff are professional and attentive, and the overall level of service is consistently high. The views are fantastic and truly elevate the experience, creating an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. The team is very attentive without being intrusive, and pricing feels appropriate for the quality of the venue, service, and location. A detail I particularly appreciated is their beverage selection. They offer Estrella Damm, a Spanish beer from my hometown of Barcelona. Although I chose a different beer to try something new, the fact that they carry it speaks to a thoughtful and well-informed gastronomic criterion.
After a day of sightseeing in the city, my wife and I visited SKYE, located on the rooftop of a hotel, for a late evening drink and some light bites. We weren’t expecting an extraordinary culinary experience, and to be honest, the food wasn’t particularly memorable—but that’s not really the point of SKYE. It’s all about the vibe. Sipping cocktails and sharing finger food while enjoying the stunning night view of Hong Kong was an experience in itself. The stylish music, great drinks, and the beautiful setting made it feel like a perfect way to wind down the day. SKYE is more about the overall ambiance than just the menu, and for that, it definitely delivered.
Really cool place to watch the Kowloon Skyline at night! The highlight of the food was the beef tartare, seriously mustardy, and the salt and pepper abalone. We really enjoyed the bottle of wine we shared and the staff were very attentive to topping up and asking about next plates. Worth a visit if you want a nighttime rooftop experience.
