Went with my family and once again had a fantastic time at Riu Ahungalla. They started things off with a free room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. Staff were super friendly – always smiling and greeting us. Food was great, with multiple restaurants (some need booking, the main one doesn’t). Snacks are available between meals too. Bars offer local spirits and beers, imported wines, and decent cocktails. Our room was spacious with a partial sea view, balcony, sofa bed, and free minibar. It had most amenities, but no dental/vanity kits or slippers. Evenings were fun with live shows – the band was amazing! Heard some of the best live English songs I’ve come across in Sri Lanka. Overall, a great experience. Definitely coming back again!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were always clean, and the restaurants offered a great variety of dishes. The adults-only pool was a nice bonus. Evening shows and board games in the lobby made the stay even more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. We would love to come back.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Riu! The all-inclusive package truly delivered – there was a great variety of drinks available, catering to all tastes. The 24-hour food options were impressive, with multiple restaurants offering delicious meals around the clock. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I also appreciated the free access to the spa and gym, which added a lot of value to the stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful beach – perfect for relaxing or enjoying water activities.

An Incredible All-Inclusive Experience at Riu Sri Lanka! We had an amazing stay at Hotel Riu Sri Lanka in Ahungalla! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered stunning views of the ocean. The variety of food at the buffet and themed restaurants was excellent – something for every taste. The all-inclusive concept worked seamlessly, with unlimited drinks, snacks, and meals throughout the day. The pools were a highlight – especially the one overlooking the beach – and there were plenty of sunbeds available. The beach itself is beautiful, and even though it’s public, it’s perfect for long walks and watching sunsets. Entertainment every night kept things lively, but you can also find quiet corners if you prefer to relax. The spa services were also top-notch and very relaxing. Overall, Riu offers a great balance of luxury, comfort, and value. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone wanting a complete beach holiday in Sri Lanka!

I had a fantastic stay with my friends at the RIU Hotel. The entire experience was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious though it would be even better with a few more meat options. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of life 24/7. From the lively club nights and fun games to great music, relaxing jacuzzi time, and late-night meals, Unlimited Drinks there was never a dull moment. It truly felt like a non stop celebration.
