Actually this had been my favorite hotel every time I made a business trip to Surabaya. I loved everything there from the bedroom to the breakfast menu!
But now, I don't even feel like staying in a star hotel anymore. Many things get old and look abandoned. I even got a room with air-conditioning that leaked water to the floor.
Yet, I still like the food, services and hospitality from the staff, Stayed there more than 4 times from January to March this year, each time always more than 3 nights.
Please fix the broken and scratched floor and wall, leaked AC, replacing corroded water taps!

i chose this hotel because i found review that this hotel is better than gunawangsa merr (i used to go to gunawangsa merr to have staycation) it was my first time went there and i was surprised about the cleanliness, the floor was dirty (seems like it wasnt have swept before i arrive), the pillows smells musty, etc. i was trying tell myself its okay, then in the morning my son was very excited to swim, i felt the same since i really need to refresh myself, the main purpose i did staycation is for swimming and have fun, but it was forbidden for me and my fam to swim because we just wear the ordinary clothes, not the swimsuit, i was really disappointed because i didnt get information about this when i checked in in the first day, so i could go and buy swimsuit the day before (even whenever i did staycation in gunawangsa merr they allowed us to wear the ordinary clothes to swim) i asked about the swimsuit rent and the security said the dont have it. i didnt get any solution and i was really disappointed!! and then i wanted to go back to my room and the security said i need to get my son dry first since he was already gettin into the pool, i told him i will carry my son so it will not get the floor dirty with water droplets and he still said no. i tried to hold my patience and brought my son to the outdoor playground, and the security came to me again and said that my son needs to took off his sandals? ISNT IT OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND???? I was really mad, and i cannot hold my emotions any longer when the security said to my sister that we can swim in the pool if we use tanktops, IS IT A GOOD SOLUTION? TO US USING REVEALING CLOTHES JUST TO BE ALLOWED TO SWIM? SUCH A DISRESPECT ACT FOR ME! i didnt care about him anymore, i grabbed my son and my sisters to go back to our room immediately, and when i got to my room, i randomly saw the pool view and i found a women with ordinary clothes was allowed to swim??? SO DISAPPOINTING! we got such discrimination and it was awfully bad experience for us, my sisters couldnt access the wifi either so it was a big disappointment for us which was expecting a fun staycation in this hotel. sorry but i didnt recommend this place for anyone who wants a staycation.

The hotel does not have an independent building of its own. The upper floors of a multistorey apartment building have been converted into the hotel and the property seems to be quite old.

The location and surroundings are not impressive, with no market, cafes or restaurants within walkable distance.

The room was big but the toilet was very small and the wash basin was placed in the room itself.

Cleanliness was just average with paint peeling off from the corners of walls and ill maintained floor fitting at the toilet entrance.
The pillows were too thick for a comfortable sleep.
The staff at the reception were courteous but language was a bit of hinderence.
One advice.... Don't use the water from the bigger water bottles that are placed in the room, near the kettle. If you open the bigger bottles, you will be charged extra for them. Use only the complimentary smaller water bottles.

Their in-house restaurant on the 23rd floor is large and spacious and the 'Gado Gado' that I had ordered was quite good.

However, I encountered one problem which the hotel reception could not solve. My phone charger did not fit into the electric socket fittings in the room. When I asked the reception to provide me with an adapter, they expressed their inability to do so. It could have ruined my next day's trip to Mt Bromo and Madakaripura waterfall had I not been able to charge my phone camera in the private cab that I had booked for the trip.
Overall, it was just an average stay.

The staff is great and very friendly. The hot water works. But the room is absolutely disastrous. The AC is supper loud and I had to call engineering to turn of a light (01:30) that was on the balcony with a locked door. (that was just to house the external part of the AC unit)....after he spend quite some time to find the right ?️ he had to twist the light bulb of..as there was no switch to be found.  The bedside table is about to fall of the wall and the chillout chair is disgusting; burn marks from an iron and cigarette burn holes although it was a non-smoking room. Paint drops and smears all over the place, which  can easily be cleaned with a bit of water , soap and scrubbing sponge. (I tried)... Won't go back there.

My husband booked the room in a hurry without reading the reviews from ticket.com site because we were tired already and it was almost dinner.
He was interested because of the pool facility that our daughter requested.

The room is big, but quite rusty. This hotel is a part of some low budget apartment.
So the pool is shared by the hotel guests and tenants.
The bed linen seemed rather off. The color white was greyish. The sofa’s material was old with a cigarette hole on it ?
The towels were also greyish and smelled bad.
We’ve been to other hotel-apartment with cheaper rate before in Bandung, but it was much more presentable and cleaner.
They really need to do some rejuvenation of the room.
And the prices of room service foods are too expensive for a low budget hotel.
The foods at the restaurant were not very nice, but still acceptable to our tastebuds.
Children above 3 had to pay 50k extra if both parents take the free breakfast. Not worth it. So, my husband didn’t join us for breakfast. ?
