Really enjoyed staying here! I was here in Jan for 3 nights, the hotel is beautiful and nicely lit in the day. Felt like everything regarding access to common areas was designed well, I was close to the lifts yet not feeling too disturbed in my sleep. Loved the bath and I enjoyed using it a lot, their shower items are really nice too and noted that they were up for sale too. Location is close enough to Kyoto station without feeling too much in the buzz.
Amazing hotel 9/10 will come back About 15 minutes walking from Kyoto Station but it's near the bus stop (5 minutes). Also the neighboorhood are so quiet and calming The hotel door closed from 01.00 to 05.00 AM, but it's ok
Warm and friendly staff and atmosphere. Beautiful art and decor throughout. Breakfast is totally worth 2,000yen especiallyif you're hungry; delicious and a wide assortment. Comfortable beds and the largest room we have had during our hotel stays in Japan.
Wow, wow, wow this hotel. We booked one of the rooms with the courtyard and bathtub and it was well worth the extra $. Our room was spacious and spotless. We were obsessed with the provided pajamas. Staff were very helpful and kind. The lobby was gorgeous and we loved the little gift shop. Do not sleep on the ice cream in the lobby or the breakfast. Both are 10/10. Getting around Kyoto from this hotel was really easy with cabs seconds away and subways, trains within a walkable distance. I loved Kyoto and when I'm back I'll definitely be staying here again.
I loved this hotel! The rooms were very big and spacious, with plenty of room for our luggage and shopping bags. The only downside was that the shower wasn’t the most comfortable. We really liked the hotel’s vibe and the breakfast was a solid continental spread with plenty of options. Even though it’s not located right in the middle of the tourist attractions, we appreciated the calm and quiet surroundings and there’s a great teppanyaki restaurant nearby.
