We spent 4 nights in this hotel and I definitely give them 5 stars in each category. I have read the last 20 reviews and I completely disagree with all negative reviews. This is the best value for the price we paid. Not sure someone might expect The Ritz-Carlton standard for this money... but all I can say is that the rooms are spacious, clean, the bathroom is big, plenty of wardrobe space, nice balcony, the garden and pool area is beautiful there is a direct beach with sunbeds and towels and shower facilities. The watersport center is right at the hotel's beach ( you have to negotiate the prices there though, their list prices are ridiculous). The pool is very nice and clean there is no noise and no lots of kids at the pool. Our room price did not have access to the infinity pool but tbh I was more than happy with the main pool and the beach and the beautiful view to the islands. The staff is very kind everyone on site is really lovely. Late check out is not a problem there is a shower to use at late check out. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, thanks to someone's recommendation here in the reviews we tried Cactus the first day and we kept going back every day super nice people, local business, delicious food. I have explored the island really well and all I can say this hotel has an amazing location, a secluded beach that is quiet, 2 km from the touristy strip, if you wish to go there the easiest is to drive a motorbike or you can take a grab. The cable car is a 30 Min drive on the motorbike. If you rent a motorbike I highly recommend checking out Tanjung Rhu beach on the northern part of the island, it is stunning. Kalut beach bar is very popular on Cenang beach with the fire show, it is 10 Min on the scooter.

I stayed in the Superior Room for two nights. The room felt very spacious and comfortable, and I didn’t experience any inconvenience during my stay. Looking at past reviews, some mentioned that the facilities were outdated, but according to a renovation notice I saw, it seems that many aspects have been improved. From the resort entrance to the reception, restaurant, pool, and bar, every staff member was kind and welcoming. The resort itself was very large, with beautiful landscaping and great facilities. The swimming pool, infinity pool, and private beach were absolutely fantastic. The only downside was that the location was somewhat far from the busy downtown area, making transportation a bit inconvenient. If considering just the resort itself, I would definitely recommend it!

We stayed at a lovely hotel in Langkawi and had a great overall experience! The view was beautiful, and the rooms were very clean. Bedsheets and towels were fresh and spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The food was fresh and tasty, with a good variety to choose from. One of the highlights was the friendly and helpful reception staff – they made us feel very welcome. The hotel has swimming pools for both adults and children, which is perfect for families. They also offer life jacket rentals for kids, which we really appreciated. The only small downside was that housekeeping was a bit slow to arrive, but once they came, they did a good job. Overall, it was a great place to stay in Langkawi, and I would definitely recommend it to families and couples alike!

I stayed there with my family and had a fabulous time. I have stayed at Holiday Villa 3 times so far this year alone and every single time was memorable. The staff were very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. Special kudos to the staff at the Beach bar!!!! They were truly lovely and treated us like family. We absolutely loved them! Holiday Villa is surely a must go in Langkawi!!
