3 Chome-12-6 Shimodera, Naniwa Ward, Osaka, 556-0001, Japan
Super affordable and great for what you are paying. The hotel is near a 7/11 which makes it perfect for late night munchies and a quick breakfast. It’s also near a station so traveling across Osaka was so easy. The staff were super nice and friendly. We arrived near new years and they were doing raffles and I won a tote bag!
Stayed at Fawn Hotel for my Osaka/Kyoto trip. Firstly, I love love how spacious the room is especially for a solo traveller like me. The price of the hotel room wasn't unreasonable too especially since it was closer to the cherry blossom period. The bed was a single (or super single) so it wasn't as comfy but the the bedding and comforter was veryyy soft. The toilet was equally spacious and clean as well. Next, for the location, it was somewhat near ebisucho (8mins walk) and midosuji station (10-14mins walk). For a country like Japan that will require to walk a lot, i think the location is considered quite near the train station already.... There is a 7-eleven at around 3mins walk away and familymart at around 7mins walk. Not too bad. The hotel is located at a somewhat secluded area feels but still not too bad as there are other hotels around the area. Walking back at night can be a little dark and quiet but it's not too bad. Overall, my stay at Fawn Hotel was very pleasant. Would consider staying there again!
Good hotel. Staff were very helpful and the whole place was clean and tidy. Room was on the small side for two adult males (didn’t really have room for our suitcase) but this was something we could work around. Good location as close to subway links. Would recommend for people staying in Osaka on a budget.
Location was quite strategic, although a brief 7-10mins walk to a couple of different metro station entrances, there's an elevator exit from Ebisucho station, exit 1B or Exit 3, you don't need to carry the luggage up and down. I find it's really convenient because there's 7-11, Lawson and a pharmacy store within just a few minutes walk, and a Life Supermarket within 5mins walking ahead. The location is a residential area and can be quiet and slightly dark at night, but so far I felt quite safe. The Shinsekai and Mega Donki store is about 15 mins walk (or the metro one station away) from the hotel.
