The property owners are some of the nicest people I have met on the island which is saying a lot because there's a lot of really nice people here. Their service is fantastic ? Overall, the rooms are pretty good ? I stayed in the older house and the water was hot, the AC was cold and the bed was soft The place is located literally 2 minute walk from the beach Be careful as the river enters the ocean here and the river is filled with trash from local villages. If you need fast Wi-Fi contact the owners ahead of time because otherwise it's a dead zone I would definitely stay here again ❤️

“Highly Recommended!” Great stay! The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location was peaceful but close to attractions. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. Would definitely return!

Highly recommended. Very nice owners. 3 min walk in a leafy neighborhood to the beach. AC rooms are recommended. fan room works well, when I lived in it, but gets a bit hot and humid. I really liked Ecco Villa. want to come back

I spent only one night at Eko Villa because I made my reservation late, and the following days were already fully booked. That was a big mistake on my part. Even so, this place became my favorite in Weligama. Ganisha and her husband Taranga gave me plenty of great tips for trips and experiences, and I always enjoyed coming back to them. I truly felt at home there. The cooking class with Ganisha was also an amazing experience. I’m really looking forward to returning to these wonderful people for a longer stay one day. Thank you! ☀️

One of the best homestays I’ve ever been. The family is really kind and sweet, you feel really like home. The food is perfect! Rooms very comfortable! If you want to stay somewhere in Weligama, that is the place!
