134 Bongeunsa-ro, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea
I didn't realize that Dormy Inn, a Japanese-style hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, had such a high price-performance ratio. The large bath is even more luxurious than the Tokyo Business Hotel, and the room is also a three-piece Japanese-style apartment (sink, toilet, and room are separate), with free American coffee, lactobacillus drinks, and popsicle "食べ放題". I'll be staying here for the rest of my stay in Seoul.
Location: airport bus stops at the Novotel next door. The area around the hotel is quite steep though so it was a tough climb to Novotel when you have a heavy suitcase. Olive Young Gangnam is 10min walk and lots of cafes nearby. Room: stayed in the queen size room on a low floor. It was surprisingly quiet despite facing the road and room size is adequate. The standard pillow is uncomfortable so do grab a different pillow from B2 first thing in the morning! Service: staff are friendly
I stayed here for two nights. The location was very convenient to the stores/restaurants in Gangnam and the airport bus stops next door. The room was clean and there's a lot of free perks (onsen in basement, free ice cream at night, free ramen at night, free probiotic drink in the morning). The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
Was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Spa was the highlight of course. But breakfast was also amazing. I don’t typically wake up for them.
