My stay at Desa Balqis, was truly unforgettable! The peaceful surroundings, warm hospitality, and authentic village charm made it a perfect retreat.

The house I took is Pak Long’ house was offering both comfort and a true taste of local culture. I especially loved the traditional architecture, serene nature,  waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and friendly hosts.

The traditional architecture, the open spaces, and the slower pace of life brought back cherished memories of childhood days spent in the village. It was more than just a stay. It was an experience that touched my heart. I can’t wait to return.

I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay!! ??❤️

Very terrible experience. Supposedly stay for 4days but we had to leave early on the 1st day because of the unpleasant circumstances (diganggu). Went there for family vacation, stayed at rumah Pak Ngah and it costs RM1000 per night .  Tak berbaloi langsung because the resort is not very well maintained. Kipas berhabuk, meja tak lap, bilik tidur berhabuk, shower dlm bilik air takde handler so it left hanging - I think its ridiculous considering the fact that they put a price that high and can't even maintain a proper shower and a clean environment for the people who paid for it. Even when we called their service to look over the AC because it was not functioning well in one of the bedrooms, they told us to use the fan instead as they will check it the next morning. Dari situ pun is a sign of bad customer service ! For RM1000 per night is extremely extravagant as they should maintain the resort at its worth . I would give it zero star if Google provide it .

I like this homestay! Soo cool! Like living in the traditional village! The owner retain and maintain the old traditional home and in fact the timber is soo authentic!

Ample space to hold your family day! In fact we hold our family days here! The food (breakfast) is nice and delicious.

The garden is full with grass thus you can perform telematch there.

The owner soo humble and we are happy to meet and chat with such a humble owner!

I would strongly recommend this homestay esp if you wanna hold a family Day function!

My 2D1N (21-22 May 2022) stay at Pak Anjang house was superb!! Huge & clean kampung house.. yes.. so many mosquitoes there! But, no issue.. mosquito repellent provided. Nice pool! Everything was just find! Worth stay for my family gathering which consist of 7 adults + 8 kids

The price is abit expensive. Room and surrounding cleanliness can be improved. Rundown furniture and some part of the house. Breakfast only 1 nasi lemak bungkus per pax besides few other kuih, fruits and bread. Beach can be cleaned as well. Kids need supervision as the stairs to the beach is VERY steep.
