I love the people! Pak ndak, the staff and the local people are very welcoming. The oysters are super cheap compared to the price in KL. It only cost me Rm35 for 10 oysters compared to RM15/ oyster in KL. But taste wise, not a fan of the raw oysters here. U should try the oyster masak halia, sedap. Paling win adalah the ambiance. Sangat tenang. We even manage to get some work done here.
The fresh oyster have less copper taste compared to French oyster that i have eaten before. Recommended to try the fresh oyster here if you are trying to eat oyster for the first time, the kerabu tastes very raw compared to the fresh one because all the saltiness from the oyster after the mix. But worry not, they also have cooked version, Tiram Masak Halia. Fresh Oyster-RM40 Kerabu Oyster-RM48 A nice small kedai makan just in front of the river. Nice atmosphere when it gets windy during hot lunch time
Has Fresh Oysters here. RM20 for 5. Will update later if I 'survive' this, InshaAllah. Asam pedas ok. Ambience......5 *
Tiram fresh paling best I have ever tried… 2nd time here and I can say the taste much better than those in the fancy restaurant… 1 set 10 pcs RM40
I have been trying oyster elsewhere, but so far this one i could considered the best so far. Look small from outside but the filling is full compared to other placed i have tried. You will love it and must try. The parking a bit limited but still manageable to find. Pak Ndak very friendly he could explain the differences between local oysters. Quick chat with him next to the jetty and he show me the event that research he join with others to compared amongst oyster in malaysia. Research carried out in UPM and He informed Muar Oyster is the best so far. Assam pedas also not bad, thick and tasteful. Have a try!! i hope you will not regret
