Excellent stay! Deposit was requested to be paid additionally at the hotel and was refunded in full. Stayed in pool view room and the Rooms and restrooms were clean. No complaints Great location ! There can be better breakfast options since it’s almost the same everyday There was some smell outside the beachside restaurant may be due to drainage mixing up in the sea. Otherwise it’s best. Overall pleasant stay!

We stayed four days at Kamar Resort in a separate house and it was a great holiday. Our house was the closest to the sea and the restaurant, we had our own shower outside in the fresh air and a bathroom inside the house. The hotel itself is very quiet and calm, there were few people in April, sun loungers are free, just what you need for relaxation. The pool is simply amazing, very large, for those who care - you can train in it. From the hotel you can easily walk to restaurants and the lively part of the town

Camar Resort Langkawi is a beautiful and quiet beachfront property with a great pool and relaxing atmosphere. I had a pleasant stay — the staff were kind and welcoming, including the receptionist, which was opposite to some reviews I’d read. They do take a 200 MYR security deposit upon check-in, which is fully refundable at checkout if there are no issues. The rooms are comfortable, the A/C works well (though a bit outdated), and the resort offers options from pool view rooms to beach view villas. The beach is nice and peaceful, but with a bit more cleaning it could be amazing. One downside was the unpleasant sewage smell near the beach area — I could actually see where it enters the sea, which was disappointing. Thankfully, there were no smells inside the rooms. Breakfast was decent, but the same items were repeated daily. Also, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the nearest shops and tour agencies. Keep in mind: it’s a quiet resort, so don’t expect nightlife or evening activities — perfect if you’re looking to unwind.
