We stayed at Caesar Park Taipei in late February/early March as a stopover for one night on our way to Kenting and one night on our way back to Toronto. The location is super convenient, close to the high speed train station, although the signage in the underground could be better, but this is not the hotel's fault. Its also close to the underground shops and to a lot of good cheap street vendors/little shops which offer superb value. The staff are generally very helpful. An added bonus is the storage of luggage free of charge if you are coming back to the hotel after checking out and left for another destination. That was a great help, because its less hassle and its free and provide better peace of mind than storage at the train station. Rooms have been renovated and clean and big. Will definitely stay again.
This hotel is convenient if you are traveling by train into Taipei because it is across the street from the Main Taipei station. If you go by surface level, you will only have some steps going up the entrance of the hotel. If you go underground from the station, I believe it is exit number 6. You will have about 15 steps to go up. We had large bags and it was a little difficult. The room itself was fine. A view of another building out a dirty window, but we didn't mind. The room was clean, internet was good, shower had good pressure and hot water. We didn't eat in the hotel because there were so many other nearby options. Overall a basic hotel with very nice and helpful staff.
