What an incredible place! Brothers Bar is more than just an accommodation or a delicious restaurant….it truly is a community space. I didn’t stay here but I frequented this place often during my one month stay in Boossa. The brothers who run this place are friendly, kind and they genuinely care about their community. This is a place where people gather, relax and make new friends. Their Sri Lankan breakfast is one of the best that I’ve had, and it comes with a coffee or tea. They also have a plethora of dinner and lunch options, I can personally recommend the Kottu. You can enjoy your food with a beautiful & uninhibited view of the ocean. Brothers Bar genuinely became my favorite place to hang and relax in Boossa, and it’s no doubt thanks to the kindness and warmth of the guys who run this place. They’ve done an excellent job— I highly recommend coming by here during your stay in Boossa. You won’t regret it!

Most people come to Boossa for the $5 bungalows, and Brother’s has that option as well, but this time I decided to have my own private space with bathroom and balcony for $13. I stayed two weeks and they discounted the cost a bit more. WiFi in Sri Lanka is generally pretty awful, but I was able to get a few bars consistently here. I was there in the slow season (November) so it was very quiet, empty and peaceful. You can get a bus to Galle, Unawantuna or Hikaduwa for $1. They come every 10 minutes! The cons were that after two weeks, all of my fabric belongings unfortunately started to mold since the hut is more primitive and open to the elements and it was often raining, then not fully drying. This might not be an issue in . Another con was I got this random creepy text from some dude while I was staying there asking if I was sleeping? ? (see photo) Disgusting. I don’t ever give my number out so how did the person have my contact info AND know I was staying there? I also don’t like when the owner called me darling, dear, and sunshine. Be more professional please.

Amazing place to stay, delicious food and very friendly staff. We didn’t slept here but was close to our cabanas and we spent all our relaxing days there. Super suggested!!!

Brothers beach offers more than they should for such a low price. Great place to unwind and keep your things safe while you travel around galle. We stayed two nights. The beach view is great and feels like you've rented a private beach. Hearty food and the view is the cherry on top of this cozy, cheap and welcoming place.
