I absolutely loved my stay at Boxpackers Langkawi! A huge shoutout to June, he is truly amazing! He went above and beyond to help me, recommend things to do, and even took me to try delicious Malaysian food, giving me a real taste of the local culture. The hostel itself is so authentic, it is in an old, vintage style building that’s been transformed into a cozy and welcoming space. The vintage vibes are everywhere, adding so much charm to the experience. One of the highlights is their wonderful, cozy bar it’s the perfect spot to unwind and gets super fun at night. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Langkawi!

The atmosphere in the bar or the hostel is just welcoming and so relaxed! I met so many people and kind of find a home far away from home and hope to come back at some point. June does everything for his guests, you can ask anything and he will try to help you. And he's the basketball player ever ;) The cats and hammocks are the best. I had a great time and wish I would've stayed longer!!

Great location within 5 minutes walking distance from a 24/7 laundry, the night market and the main beach. Rooms are comfortable and clean with cold aircon. The owner is very kind and helpful with arranging tours/activities. Well worth the price, highly recommend.

Loud & Lively—Not for Light Sleepers If you’re planning to sleep before 1 AM, this is not the place for you. The dormitory is literally inside the bar, which stays open until 1 AM, so be prepared for very noisy nights. On the positive side, it’s a lively hostel where I met some great people. However, the surroundings aren’t the nicest, and for the same price, you can find better options in Langkawi. Unless you’re looking for a party atmosphere and don’t mind the noise, I’d recommend staying elsewhere.

With its unbeatable price, prime location, and fantastic atmosphere, it’s the perfect choice for budget travelers who refuse to compromise on quality. Situated right in the city center, it’s within walking distance of beach！The dorm beds are priced way lower than other hostels in the area, yet the quality is top-notch！Also they running a cocktail bar next to the rooms，so Awesome Social Vibe – Easy to Make Friends. This hostel proves that you don’t need to spend big to have an amazing trip. Perfect for solo travelers, students, and anyone who loves meeting new people. I’ll definitely be back! ?✈️
