We had a wonderful stay as a family! The ocean view was beautiful and made our trip extra special. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Great location for relaxing and spending quality time together. We’d love to come back!
I had a fantastic stay at Bintan Exotica! I spent 7 days in a Mangrove Sea View Villa, and the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with terraces on both the sea and garden sides. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always available either at the reception or through WhatsApp whenever I needed anything. They arranged free transport from the ferry terminal, which made everything so easy, and also helped me book transport for a trip to Trikora Beach—such a beautiful place and well worth the visit. This cozy and peaceful resort is the perfect place to relax and truly enjoy your holiday. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
Great place. Fully surrounded by nature. Stunning view of sea directly from the room. Staff very polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay altogether. Only thing to note is this place is very much in nature, so be ready of some company - birds, cats, lizards ?
Chose this resort vs the Bintan Resorts cluster for a quiet getaway during the Singapore’s long weekend. And this resort definitely meets that criteria. Takes about 60mins ride from Bandar Bintan Telani Ferry Terminal to the resort. Resort offers private car transfers for Rp450K if you can’t catch their complimentary scheduled transfers. Stayed in Beachfront Luxury Pavillion King. Loved the view from the bed. The unit is rustic yet very comfortable with almost everything that you needed, except for a mini fridge. Water pressure, aircon, bedding and wifi were perfect. Netflix & Prime apps available. Don’t expect much swimming as tides are very low most times. Only time high enough to swim is at night or when a storm is coming in. So prepare yourself with water shoes for intertidal walks instead and you can walk really far out! Loved the infinity pool which was well maintained. Our stay came with buffet breakfast on weekends and ala carte selection on weekdays. Both choices were alright, though coffee could be improved. Too much residue making it bitter and difficult to drink. Had quite a few items from the Ala carte menu for other meals and the highlights for us were the fresh coconut drink, grilled squid and beef satay. Pizza was decent, but the curry chicken with naan was miserably small portion and diluted. If just chilling is your idea of holiday, Bintan Exotica may be the one. Note that there is absolutely no dining options other than a local provision shop within walking distance. We met Resort Manager Nella whose warmth and cheerfulness is our idea of Indonesian hospitality. Perhaps the front desk staffs could offer similar mannerism. Don’t get me wrong…they are very efficient and professional, but impersonal. Not once we heard them say “See you again soon” or “Have a nice trip home” to departing guests. Another area for improvement would be to display a good listing of activities/ammenities/services (complimentary or paid) somewhere prominent for awareness. We played Uno Stack during a very rainy moment after we chanced upon it peeping out from some corner at the front desk.
