This is the 3rd time here absolutely think the staff go beyond their scope of job description. Everyone is so very helpful. I fist thought about no windows but let’s face it hotels with windows can’t be open you only sleep there. The rooftop area is fantastic to unwind from a busy day sightseeing and the staff up there are absolutely so accomodating. Yes it’s getting a bit older but aren’t we all ? Management recognises this and small steps are being made to improve I won’t say large steps because it would have to probably have to close for a bit. If you want happy staff to serve you on a budget this is the place to go will def always make this my go to when I visit Vietnam they are so accomodating when we left to go to Phu Quoc and couldn’t take all our luggage they were very happy to look after it for a week whilst we were gone how good is that!!! So all the downers out there you really had an opinion before you had to really got to know staff shame on you. This place is awesome ????????

The hotel had excellent service, we booked 2 rooms late at night and they immediately put in a second bed into the room. The breakfast was really high quality, they made eggs however you liked it and they have a lot of food. The rooms were clean and tidy and the bed was perfect. The hotel workers were always ready to help and they even check your room immediately after you leave. I would highly recommend staying in Alagon hotel and the location is also perfect in District 1.

We had a 3 night stay here when we arrived to Vietnam. Clean and tidy hotel in a good location though 5pm traffic really grid locks outside the door making it hard to get anywhere. Service here was great, very helpful and friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was pretty good, average selection sometimes but great for complimentary. Rooms were great and clean though bathrooms incredibly awkward to manoeuvre around and shower. Rooftop pool is great!
