The service is also noteworthy—attentive and friendly, with a smile from every staff member. During my visit, I had the chance to meet the owner, who is originally from a Burmese background. He was not only humble and warm but also had a great sense of humor, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Banana Leaf is highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine South Indian dining experience. Everything we ordered was delicious. Tasted very authentic. The staff is nice and courteous. Would highly recommend the roti with egg. They have so many veg and non veg options. Also they offer good budget friendly dishes.

Had dinner here twice while staying nearby. Quiet location up a lane way. Spacious eating area. Extensive menu selection of Indian and Malaysian food. Tried the Chicken Tikka, Char Kway Teow and Nasi Goreng dishes. Pleasant service. Reasonable prices.
