If you're on a budget n want to stay in the Gurney area, I'd recommend this place! It's not really a hotel, it's sort of like an Airbnb.

I booked via Agoda n the person in charge is very helpful. He'd let me know how to do the self check-in procedure, just follow the instructions n you'll be fine.

The room has all the basic necessities. It's worth the price. Parking is free although limited. The opposite is the gurney food court, n beside is a 7Eleven.

My only complaint is the blanket giving off electric statics like A LOT.

Overall, bad experiences. You can immediately feel the hotel is just meant for making money but everything is not maintained well with long term customer care at all.

( The 2 hotel lines that can never be picked up, sent me a WA message, telling me how many hotels or hostels they have in Penang and ask us to book directly with WA with them to get cheaper price instead on online)

This is why we feel they are only keen to make money but after you paid booking and not even bother to answer your call for long time.

( 2 other guests booked and also told me same thing .the customer service line can never be answered after you called many times, they also have to wait outside for long time and don't know what to do.)

First, services are bad, maintenance bad,the only lucky thing is the hotel is not too old as at now, otherwise, I don't think I will have the basic situation to stay at all.

Water refill machines ( cheap machines without water after trying to refill some). Even though there are 4 machines yet still out of water at the same time easily.

Room: So so for the price and quality. No window at all.

Toilet : black stains in the toilet wall a lot.

Service : First of all the service is really bad.
The phone number given can never be answered. We had to wait at the entrance, didn't get the pin and called the number given for a long time no pick up. I thought it was just engaged but 2 other guests were also waiting in front of the door calling the same line yet they said : same thing, the number never will answer the call.

After I called many times, the line being cut off and said busy what's up.

The response was worst.

Won't ever come back here to stay!

It's at a very convenient location. But we stay in the room at the back of its building and the loud sound of the water pump is extremely loud, disturbing and
noisy. No reception counter, anything is thru the contact and message. What happens after checking in, our message is ignored. Poor service.

Booked a 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. But i get 1 queen bed and 1 single mattress???
Check in was easy, notification sent after booked for the door pass code and key code. Parking is limited. And will be full when people come for the food court at night

Room have no windows and very bad air circulation. Toilet bowl very dirty got yellow stain. Room very dirty! Please avoid to book this room!!!!!
