Best place to stay in Kaohsiung! The owners are so nice and always there for recommendations and insider tipps. The rooms are spacious, new and super clean. Location is nice, local food (try the beef noodles just a couple of doors further) and small night market are around the corner. Breakfast and great coffee included. We will stay here again any time we come back to Kaohsiung.

This place feels more like an apartment building than a hotel - it truly is a city home. The owner Jenny is a wonderful lady. Big breakfast included, free drinks, and it's in the perfect location. I cannot recommend Apato enough. I stay here every time I'm in Kaohsiung. You won't find a better place for the price.

Perfect location, comfy bed and clean room with the advantage of a small balcony. All facilities needed were included. Friendly staff and had access to the rooms with an elevator. I would give 4.5 stars as the bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell at times and the bathroom door was partly made out of glass letting some light into the room in the morning.

Affordable, no-frills hotel in the heart of the city. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Staff are friendly and the co-owner, Jenny, couldn’t be more lovely. This hotel is great value for money for anyone who is on a budget, but still wants to feel comfortable where they’re staying.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! The owner was super-friendly and easy-going! The service from her and the other staff was great. Everyone was friendly and you could have ice cream and hot and cold beverages for free in the lobby. Breakfast was served to the rooms and was both healthy and delicious. Location is perfect, close to a nearby night market and the rest of Takau! Would definitely recommend!
