How To Book Hari Raya Haji Prayers At Singapore's Mosques This 2022

We will soon be welcoming Hari Raya Haji just a few days from now. Those who are looking to go to the mosque for their Hari Raya Haji prayers will be glad to know that bookings will be made available, but you may be wondering what's new this year. Here's everything you need to know about how to book Hari Raya Haji prayers this 2022!

1. How to book Hari Raya Haji prayers at the mosque?

Bookings for Hari Raya prayers will open on 7 July 2022 (Thursday) for most mosques. Bookings can be made via MUIS' mosque booking portal and you can check your session at  As slots are limited, make sure you set a reminder! 😁

2. How many prayer timeslots will there be?

There will be three prayer sessions at the mosques. Now that the restrictions have eased, 66 mosques will be conducting Hari Raya Aidiladha prayer, with up to three prayer sessions each. The first two sessions would require you to book ahead of time, while the third session allows for walk-ins. With the further easing of safe management measures, mosques will now offer a total of 215,730 spaces for prayer.

3. Which mosques can I book my Hari Raya Haji slots at?

Following the further easing of Safe Management Measures (SMMs) for Religious Activities, there will no longer be any Vaccination Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) for congregational prayers certain mosques (including daily and Friday prayers), you can check to see the full list here. 😃

4. Are there Muslimah-friendly spaces?

Muslimahs don't have to worry! There will be designated prayer spaces for you too this year!

5. Are children allowed into the mosque at this time?

Yes, children are welcomed to join the prayer sessions as well! However, all children below the age of 12 years-old are required to have a valid booking for sessions 1 and 2 (as session 3 is a walk-in). So, do make sure to make preparations ahead of time if you'll be bringing your kids along. 😃

6. Do I need to be vaccinated to join the prayer sessions?

You have to be fully vaccinated in order the enter mosques that offer more than 500 spaces. As per regulations, if you are not fully vaccinated, you will only be allowed into the 17 mosques that allow for it.

7. Is there anything I have to prepare for my prayer session?

You may be wondering what you'll need to bring to the mosque on the morning of Hari Raya Haji. 🤔

The most important thing is your face mask. It is required that you keep it on while in the prayer hall and during prayers and you would also need to bring your own prayer mat. Last but not least, verification of your vaccination status will be done upon entry at the mosque so do bring along your mobile phones (for mobile verification) or token!
