We're big fans of both halal Korean and halal Japanese food here in Singapore - so we're super excited to learn that there's a brand-new Muslim-owned hawker stall that sells both. ? Hanok Kitchen has just opened at Newton Food Centre and their menu includes dishes from both cuisines that look amazing!
P.S. Here are 15 of the best halal hawker stalls in SG selling everything you could dream of - from Sup Tulang to Steak! ?

They just officially opened on 2 August 2020 so we recommend heading down ASAP before the crowds form! Their Bulgogi Don is one of their signature dishes - just take a look at that juicy marinated beef. ? They also have Korean classics such as Budae Jjigae Army Stew, Bulgogi Army Stew, and Gimbap. The Army Stew even comes in portions for 2-3 people so it's perfect for sharing!

Their Japanese dishes include Sweet & Spicy Chicken Don, Oyako Don, and even Char Siew Ramen. Unlike typical halal ramen stops in Singapore, their prices are in single-digits too - totally worth it! ? If you're looking for something lighter, opt for the Japchae or Soy Garlic Chicken Wings instead. Or mix both cuisines together to create a truly affordable fusion feast!
Tell your friends it's time to catch up over Army Stew and more this weekend ?
