 Yes, there's finally a halal Japanese curry eatery in Singapore! Monster Planet is the halal-certified version of the popular Monster Curry. It's Singapore's only halal izakaya and they serve small portions of food (tapas-style) which you can share with friends. 4. The Straits Teppanyaki

 Specialising in yummy beef bowls, Gyunion has now moved to the CBD! Their rice and noodle bowls taste amazing and will leave you more than satisfied. Their Beef Gyudon looks simple, but the sweetness of the onions and tenderness of the sliced beef goes perfectly with the white rice. There’s even a soft-boiled onsen egg underneath to add that extra yolky goodness to your meal! 6. Fu-Men Japanese Udon & Donburi Restaurant

Udon is definitely one of our favourite Japanese dishes. But did you know that each region of Japan has its own variation of this popular dish? Now you can even try the Fukuoka region’s famous Hakata Udon right here in Singapore at Fu-Men! 🤩 Fu-Men is headed by chef Teppei Yamashita, who was born in Fukuoka and also runs the famous Teppei Japanese Restaurant chain. Ichikokudo opened their doors in 2018 and have been dazzling us with their rich Hokkaido-style ramen broth ever since. Using kelp, wheat, and butter from Hokkaido, their ramen and rice bowls are full of rich flavours that will flood your mouth with pure deliciousness at every bite. 11. Isuramuya Japanese Restaurant & Marketplace

Did you know that Isuramuya is the first Japanese restaurant in Singapore to also have a marketplace on-site? So once you finish that delicious plate of sashimi or bowl of ramen once dining in is allowed, you can buy your own halal-certified Japanese ingredients (hand-flown from Japan!) to recreate it at home! 🤩 Make sure to try the Tori Katsu Curry Rice. 12. The Ramen Stall

Located right along North Bridge Road, the Ramen Stall is a great place for a late-night meal as it opens all the way until 2AM on weekends!  Ramen is (of course) their signature dish here, and the flavours have even been adapted to suit the local palate. Their Volcano Ramen is topped with spicy sambal that will leave your mouth burning - choose from 3 spice levels and see if you can take the heat! 14. Wakuwaku Yakiniku

Wakuwaku Yakiniku is Singapore's very first halal yakiniku restaurant 😋 With a Japanese chef onboard, they deliver the exact same authentic Wagyu beef experience you can find in Japan!
 If you're an expert in Japanese cuisine, you'd be delighted to know that they serve jo-karubi (boneless short rib) - one of the most popular cuts of wagyu. It's known to have more marbling and it's very juicy and rich in flavour. For the adventurous foodies, here's your chance to try a Japanese delicacy called gyutan or beef tongue. 15. Oishii Corner

Owned by a Malay-Muslim couple, Mr Ramli Ibrahim and his wife, Mdm Ning Asih, the stall has been around since 2017 but it's still pretty much a hidden gem. One of their recommended dishes is the Oishii Beef Don ($5.50) which has generous amounts of thin, tender slices of beef and caramelised onions marinated in a sweet and spicy mix of sambal and Japanese sauces. Looking for something comforting? Their Teriyaki Chicken Udon ($5) will hit the spot. Here's another halal hawker serving Japanese food - MAD BROS SG. Located in Tanjong Pagar Plaza, MAD BROS SG is a Muslim-owned stall that opened in September last year. Their menu consists of various ramen and donburi (rice bowls) like Tori Pai Tan, a creamy chicken broth ramen; Tori Kare Raisu, white rice with a generous side serving of curry with chicken, potatoes, and carrots; and Tori Katsu Kare Raisu, with a crispy chicken cutlet drenched in curry gravy. 🤤 Truffle lovers will absolutely find their Truffle Ramen comforting! 18. Lean Bento

The Japanese diet is seen as pretty healthy, but Lean Bento takes it even further by creating bowls meant for #fitspo that are nutritious and gorgeous too! This sushi spot might be a bit of a surprise because you'll probably recognise it by its other name - Home of Seafood!
