Holy Moly!! The time to savour and feast on a galore of crustaceans is finally here, but, only for a short 10 days! Carousel has brought back their Annual Lobsters & Crabs Special Buffet Dinner from 24 September to 3 October. So you've got to hurry if you have not booked a table yet!
This buffet is all about the juiciest and freshest Crustaceans laid out on ice. From Snow Crab Legs to Slipper Lobsters, you're going to regret not tasting these.

They also serve special, hot dishes on their dinner menu. The cheese-lover is going to absolutely adore the Cheesy Lobster Au Gratin. And if you're looking to satisfy your craving for local flavours, have a bite of the Singapore Chilli Crabs, Lobster Laksa, Deep-fried Soft-shell Crabs and more! They even have a Lobster Bisque flavoured ice cream which tastes exactly like the real deal, I kid you not ?
Fret not for those who aren't a big fan of seafood, especially if you need to accompany your seafood-obsessed partner, the buffet dinner also serves non-seafood dishes like Signature Chicken Rice, Oven-Roasted Sirloin Beef & Chicken, Singapore Rojak, Sushi, Mediterranean dishes, Indian dishes and many more!
Do note however that the Restaurant is strict on its Safe Management Measures. Diners need to follow a systematic one-way route when moving along the buffet line. The helpful staff will also help to serve the dishes up onto your plate! For drinks, you will need to request your choice of drink from the servers. And it can all be viewed from their QR code drinks menu! So it's all at your fingertips.

It was really a hassle-free buffet for us as we had our food conveniently served onto our plates, our drinks instantaneously served, plates cleared quickly, and there were dessert trolleys going around the tables where we lazily selected desserts from our seats! Our cutlery was provided in a Ziploc bag and for hygiene purposes, we were also provided with plenty of wet tissues to clean up with as opposed to the usual finger bowls.
We spent almost 3 hours feasting, up to the point we raised a white flag thanks to the food coma we experienced after our many plates of seafood.
If you plan to head to this eatery, you totally should. My top 3 favourites were the Stir-fried Salted Egg Slipper Lobsters with Curry Leaves, Maine Lobsters with Black Pepper Glaze and Deep-fried Soft-shell Crabs with Pomelo Dip. As for dessert, I absolutely loved Carousel’s Crème Brulee. It was the cream of the crop! It effortlessly appeared in our mouths spoonful after spoonful, what a delight!
