142 Ainocho, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto, 600-8071, Japan
This place makes a phenomenal burrito. I had the pork with guacamole and extra sour cream, plus lots of complimentary salsa. Absolutely excellent. The staff were great and the atmosphere was stellar. Highly recommended for any Kansai Japanese looking to enjoy an authentic burrito and for any Westerner in need of the same.
Tucked in a cosy corner where two small streets meet, Qué Pasa serves some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. We ordered some soft tacos and a burrito, and were thoroughly impressed with both. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, with each bite packing so much flavour, especially when topped with their delicious salsa sauce. For us, their sauce was truly the standout – less an accompaniment, and more like the main character! We still find ourselves talking about this place, and looking forward to visiting it again on our next trip to Kyoto.
Yummy burrito that hit the spot. The place was packed so there was a line but if you order take away, they let you skip the line and order straight away. Beef and chicken burritos both good, the chips tasted slightly old that they weren’t freshly cooked. The staff are super nice too. Overall, I’d recommend it here if you are after a Mexican meal, but be prepared to wait for a table.
Ordered take out. Got the nachos and tacos and also a king burrito. The nachos were the smaller size but was so big so I wonder how big the king size is. The tacos and nachos get soggy for takeout (which they let us know) but we stayed close to the store so it was completely fine for us. Honestly this was so bussss. Like so good and so saucy and flavourful. Honestly if u want Mexican in Kyoto come here!
