8F12 Dragon Centre, 37K, Yen Chow St, Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong
在蘭州 is a halal restaurant located in the food court within Dragon Centre. They have a small menu featuring different types of hand pulled noodles (that is hard to find in HK), and I tried the five-spice beef noodles along with a VLT Lemon Tea for $44 HKD. The staff at the register were nice and accommodated my request for mild spiciness. Afterwards, my order was prepared within five minutes. The portion was generous compared to the price of the dish. There was a lot of noodles, which were cooked to perfection. The spices were mild, just as I liked, and the slice of beef was well-prepared. The soup was hot and delicious, with plenty of flavor. Overall, I would rate the food 5/5. However, I wish the restaurant offered better drink options, such as iced lemon tea or coffee, instead of classic choices like VLT Lemon Tea or Coca-Cola. I understand that they have space constraints and are unable to accommodate a larger menu. Moreover, remember to bring your own tissue as the restaurant do not provide any free tissue and if needed will charge $2 for the tissue like other local restaurants. The environment was good, similar to any other food court. However, be aware that on regular school days, it gets very busy in the food court.
Great value for money, good for quick meals, halal Chinese food option, varying levels of spiciness available
Beef tastes really fresh and tasty + they are very generous with the portion, you get a lot of meat in the soup. Noodles are chewy and traditionally made, but really salty for some reason. Soup is salty, recommend getting spicer I ordered medium spicy, and it was pretty mild. Will come back again
Halal Beef noodles! Authentic great northwest China taste! Nice ! Fresh Make noodle
