Best vegan sushi I have had! Went here today and the food was so good. So much so I was making plans to come back before I had finished my meal and was then told a Kyoto Branch had opened so will be visiting that when there too! Went for the option was 3 vegan sake tasters and was very impressed. Great service, explained where the Sake had come from.  Lovely chilled atmosphere. Not a big place but managed to walk straight in without a reservation. Highly recommend.

Unforgettable food! Best we had in Tokyo. Great atmosphere and the staff are so lovely. Was also impressed with their language skills. They need people to make reservations to comply with fire code (they cannot have a line of people waiting on the stairs.) However, you can check inside and if they aren't too busy they might be able to take you without one.

Reservation required! This is honestly the best meal I’ve had in the last week I’ve been in Japan. I’m vegetarian and finding tasty food I can eat has been a lot more challenging than I expected. It’s unbelievable how they can recreate some of the flavors and textures of fish. It was so good that I got a refill of my favs. And the dessert was amazing, I got the gluten-free black sesame donut with ice cream. I can’t say enough about this place. They said they recently opened another location in Kyoto with a different menu, which I wish I had known about while I was in Kyoto!

Friendly staff welcomed me at the door, drew my attention to the coat hanger if I cared to use it, before directing me to my seat at the counter. Menu in both Japanese and English is available, and staff speak English too. Scan a QR code with your phone to order and pay which isn't very convenient, as inputting credit card details is required - and can be a bit hit and miss - I noticed customers on either side of me had trouble getting it to work. However, they can provide a credit card "touch" device, if it doesn't work out with your phone.
The sushi set looked pleasing, but for me, the flavors need some work as I did find it a little bland, which surprised me as I predominantly follow a salt-free or low salt way of eating. The warmed matcha donut with ice-cream was really nice though.
The lunch sushi set, hoji tea, miso soup, pickled ginger, and donut with ice-cream came to 5000yen, which I do find to be quite pricey considering the small portion size, no refills of tea, soup or pickles, and no water.
The friendly staff saw me to the door, and handed me a business card with details of their vegan recommendations. It was a nice experience, but contrary to most other reviewers, the food didn't live up to what I hoped it would be.

I had the most delicious lunch here and would recommend it to all vegans who come to Tokyo. The sushi selection was great and they also have plenty of desserts to try! I had a lovely conversation with the staff who were so kind, it was an excellent start to my day. Can't recommend it enough.
