The food was great. The Satay chicken was the best in Auckland for us, made me remember back to southeast Asia home. Lamb was dried and not hot. Roti paper was too sweet for me. Restaurant was full and staff quite nice. Overall, not bad. you should come to try. ??

Today, I went to Uncle Man's shop on K Road. The food was absolutely delicious, and we were very happy with the service. I ordered mee goreng, roti canai, and teh tarik. The teh tarik was amazing, and the roti canai, made by an Indian chef, was incredibly soft—my son loved it! The mee goreng was also very flavorful. I’ve been to other Uncle Man shops, but this one truly made us feel like we were enjoying home-cooked food.

I love the milk tea. As for Laksa Penang, I consulted my friend later and the flavour should be legit (sour and sweet), but apparently it’s not my cup of tea.

Tasty food. Good prices. Different style of roti than I’ve had before. Glad we got to try something different.

If you are looking for Malaysian cuisine, this restaurant should be on your must list. Been here twice, always happy with the food.
