One of the best tempura in Tokyo that we have come across. The batter is light, ingredients are fresh and the different types of salt made it very tasty. We enjoyed sitting at the counter, being served piece by piece. We'll sure to return.
Went here for dinner Sunday October 27 2024. We were a party of 3 and luckily one of us is fluent in Japanese as they spoke no English. We ordered two set menus each different and one assorted 12 piece tempura. We had beers and plum wine. A total of 5 drinks and our bill with tax and service was ¥24,200 so not cheap however not crazy and it was very good. I loved the sweet potato, lotus root and shrimp. We had a small room with our reservation that had one other big table that was seated when we left. Friendly people, clean and good tempura. Closer to a 4.5 however it was better than 4!
Authentic tempura experience in Ginza. Staff were very friendly and kind to me as a foreigner. Tempura was light, not salty at all, and very crispy. I wanted to try this restaurant out because I had heard so many great reviews, and I definitely was not disappointed. I was able to learn how to properly mix for authentic tempura sauce. What will remain with me and has convinced me to come back in the future, is one of the chefs went out of their way to ask me if I would be able to eat a certain part of the course. Many restaurants even in North America do not do this. So this restaurant should be very proud of their service. 11/10 experience without a doubt. Sincerely, a very grateful tourist :)
Had dinner here at their Ginza branch 2025 March 17 with family. We had their tempura and tendon sets, they were perfectly fried and well presented. The taste was good and the service was decent, the staff were attentive to our needs.
Fantastic tempura restaurant. Go for the 3,000 yen course. Probably one of the best I have had in Japan. The master at this store really knows his stuff, squid was so good. Also try the tempura ice cream. Recommended. If you want to see more photos and tips, feel free to check out my Instagram → @6yearsinjapan
