S28, Chungking Mansion, 36-44 Nathan Road Heath, Basement of, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
Treehouse has a small stall in the basement of Chungking Mansion. When you're on Nathan Road, you need to take the escalator down where you see an “H Health” sign (on the left) instead of going through the main entrance of Chungking / Cke shopping mall. Treehouse sells flatbread wraps and salad bowls. A variety of vegetarian and vegan options. I personally enjoy the banyan and orchid wraps. Although slightly more expensive, as a customer, you do have the flexibility to make your own wrap / salad bowl with regular and premium toppings. The large flatbread wraps are quite filling but still healthy. When I come with a friend, then one of us upgrades to a combo to get the delicious sweet potato fries and a drink. Friendly staff. About 10 mins waiting time. There are plenty of seats and tables in the basement. It’s clean and air conditioned. Worth a visit.
If you are looking for delicious vegetarian options, this is your place. I chose a wrap combo with the soup of the day and lemonade and the falafel. Atmosphere - only could be improved with windows - might be best to take and enjoy your meal outside.
Located in a new retrofitted shopping mall food court, the environment is great. Offered many kinds of greens, very healthy and good for vegan/ veggie people. Tried: Treehouse Platter - Grilled Tempeh, Pine - Regular Sourdough, Walnut Brownie. All taste good, r recommend.
Treehouse is located in the basement food court at TST. Very quirky and fun! The food was delicious ? We shared a reef burger and made it a combo with sweet potato fries and a lemonade. They also included a great side salad. Our only grievance was the cost. Our meal, which we split, was $168HK ??. I certainly wouldn’t be able to eat here on the regular; it would be more of a splurge meal. While I love having more vegan options available in the city, I hope the cost can be kept reasonable so that more people can experience this delicious food and lifestyle. I would recommend, but be aware that it’s not cheap.
**Sourdough Wrap Set – $78 + $60** The *Cedar Wrap* is a vibrant blend of creamy avocado, roasted pumpkin, shredded cabbage, pickled red onions, and a zesty Mexican chili sauce. The pairing of avocado and pumpkin creates a rich, velvety texture that’s both comforting and satisfying. The avocado adds smoothness, while the roasted pumpkin brings a subtle sweetness that complements the wrap perfectly. The chili sauce is pleasantly mild, offering just enough heat to awaken the palate without overwhelming the other ingredients—each bite more addictive than the last. **Salad Bowl – $78** The *Banyan Bowl* is a nourishing, flavor-packed combination of grilled tempeh, crispy eggplant, roasted garlic hummus, shredded cabbage, and fresh tomato slices. It’s topped with a bold Indian raita dressing that brings a gentle kick of spice and a hint of mustard tang. The tempeh, made from fermented soybeans, is firm, protein-rich, and incredibly filling—perfect for a clean, healthy meal. The eggplant is lightly fried, maintaining a crisp texture and smoky aroma without being greasy. **Double Chocolate Walnut Brownie – $50** This indulgent brownie delivers a rich, intense chocolate flavor with each bite, accented by a subtle hint of coconut oil. Generously studded with crunchy walnuts, it’s a treat that feels both decadent and authentically homemade—each mouthful packed with texture and depth.
